@pithyless I live here and I would enjoy sitting down and chatting over a beer. Also, unless I'm getting my wires crossed I just watched your talk on datalog, a topic I'm very interested in. I wouldn't mind trying to organize another talk around it.

@drewverlee  happy to sit down and chat about datalog / eql / fulcro. We can also try to organize a meetup (preferably in the April slot)

No worries, you didn’t get your wires crossed; I also gave a talk today about EQL at the wroclove.rb Ruby conference ;)

Cool, yea. Lets make it happen. I am, and have been following the topics and technologies you just mentioned (minus EQL). Having started my career watching Onyx, then learning about datomic and recently following the changes Hyperfilddle and Fulcro are bringing. I feel strongly that i should get involved somewhere in this effort to make programming more declarative and reactive, but i'm not sure where or at what layer. Now that i think about this more, i would rather have a discussion, between a small group, then a talk. Though i'm not sure what your goals are. Do you have a set itinerary? what are you in town for?

might still be time to convince the chicago clojure meetup to do something, especially if you offer to talk

Yep, I agree @gfredericks https://www.meetup.com/ChicagoClj/ The organizer seems to be Matthew Polky, who i don't know. It seems Guaranteed Rate has hosted a few clojure meetups in the past. Though, i'm not sure it would even need to be a clojure meetup, as @pithyless talk on "domain modelling with datalog" would probably do well in any audience of developers.
