You can pre-warm your endpoint Lambdas to make sure they’re “hot” at need by hitting their endpoints with some trivial request - in theory you could schedule that every so often to keep at least one hot all the time if you really wanted

@danielcompton: you're right, what I used was GAE, not GCF
