I think we need to create a hackpad with our percieved pro's and cons of different implementations. That way we know how we differentiate from other systems. Also I have a random thought about something like /? - for starting a question or /I - for starting an idea Then when people respond to it that becomes a new thread of chat. I'm off to bed now but I think it's worth having a good discussion around what the trade-offs are of the different implementations and figuring out how the threading works in a way that is meaningful without becoming too complex or noisy.
