Clojurians Log v2

I keep coming across spec. It seems like it's clojure type checking, but it's getting way too much praise if it really is just that. I was wondering if that's something we can talk about next week, or maybe someone can share a good resource to motivate understanding? Other than https://clojure.org/guides/spec
