It's no biggy rolling my own, or even doing a PR

but just want to know what you're up to 🙂

I was working on a small project that uses carry, but it's been on hold for a while because I broke my wrist, and then I had to really start thinking about Burning Man, where I've been for the past 3 weeks

but I imagine in a few weeks I'll get back to the project

Yeah, I'm not yet sure that it should in the library. Let's see how this pattern will work in your project. If the function is useful and will be potentially used in many projects than we could add a chapter to docs or even add into the core. While we are at it. The same question arises about the tagged utility function: it is described in the docs and is used in examples but it should be defined by user at the moment.
