@martinklepsch The docs for https://cljdoc.org/d/clojure.java-time/clojure.java-time/0.3.2/api/java-time.core is not optimal because it shows only stuff physically defined in the ns while many functions from other namespaces are imported there via potemkin. Should we have an issue to support that? I guess we would need to load it and run (ns-publics 'java-time)
to get them. Is it possible? Thoughts?
Correct :)
should be fixed with @lee’s new cljdoc-analyzer project which we still haven’t integrated
there is a bunch of WIP PRs that I’ve opened in the cljdoc-builder project and the main cljdoc repo that basically flip the switch but I haven’t had the capacities to push it through, ensure I didn’t miss something important
I understand 🤞
Testing these PRs and just giving them a sanity check, pointing out docs that need to be updated etc would all be helpful if you feel inspired
Otherwise I’ll get to it when I get to it 😂
I feel inspired but time is always an issue 🙂 But I will keep it on my mind.
I should find time for some OSS contributing as part of my work. After all, we are benefiting from your unpaid work 🙂
No problem, that’s part of the deal 🙂
I shall return to WIP PRs someday! The kind of sad thing is that as they sit there I for so long their context evaporates from my noggin. Maybe that's good? When I return I can review them as if they were written by someone else! "Who's this lread character and what was he thinking!?!"
@lee totally the same! if you want we can try to find some time to go through stuff together and pair on pushing some of these things forward
@lee how is life otherwise? are you still focused on rewrite cljc or have you moved on to something else?
(but also really, how is life?)
Life is great @martinklepsch, thanks for asking! All roads lead from rewrite-cljc. I am currently verifying that its tests pass after compile via GraalVM, which led to a fun collab with repo with borkdude: https://github.com/lread/clj-graal-docs, so I'm still distracted, but trying to stay more focused on actually releasing rewrite-cljc! After rewrite-cljc is released I'll hop back here for more cljdoc fun!
And I expect you are doing well?
That’s very cool, I had not seen!
Also @borkdude is shipping a thing a day lately it seems 😄 You should try to make it to Europe one day and we can all hang out!
(@holyjak and I met at ClojuTRE earlier this year)
I think I also met @holyjak there. Maybe we could all meet at ClojureD
I’m doing pretty well in all regards. The OSS projects I’m involved in could use some more attention but I started working at a company (icebreaker.video) and I’m enjoying the stuff I get to work on there so the tinkerer in me is kind of satisfied :) and then life is good. Winter is dawning on Berlin but I’m spending lots of time in cozy places with good people :)
@borkdude that’d be pretty cool! I’m gonna moderate one of the tracks again, already pretty excited 😆
Sounds like a good way to spend time!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: @borkdude is a whirlwind of productivity!
@lee what would it need for you to make it to ClojureD? 😄
a safe bike route? 🚲 ?
Hahahaha
Already booked my train ticket
You could stay at my place for a while if you’re concerned about flying over for just a few days
I'd love to come to ClojureD but I'm afraid family and work won't permit it :-( (And yes, we talked at ClojuTre, @borkdude That's awesome with conferences :))
You were the guy with the štamgast t-shirt right?
