want to bring up clojurescript sponsorship at work. what's the best way to sponsor yall, @dnolen @mfikes? invidually each on github? some singular org that can disburse to you two?

Thanks! I don't have a preference. I'm glad GitHub makes such things a little easier 🙂

@dpsutton there's no proper org - we might consider that eventually but in the end it's mostly Mike & I that do the brunt of the OSS duties - JIRA gardening, release notes, pushing buttons, website documentation etc.

and I mean the central project

dnolen 2020-04-28T17:34:53.171600Z

we did create this org years ago - https://github.com/cljs-oss

dnolen 2020-04-28T17:35:45.172800Z

that would might be a good place for non-core oriented OSS stuff

probably the most active place to support tooling / ecosystem if you're not sponsoring leads directly - https://www.clojuriststogether.org

perhaps Clojurists Together is best suited for big pushes vs. more ambient support a la GitHub sponsors

dnolen 2020-04-28T17:48:20.175300Z

honestly I think both models are needed - ambient on going support and the Clojurists Together model where a OSS developer might want a bit more to do bigger projects

agreed. just getting the preferred way for company to contribute specifically to you two.

yeah individually works
