@martinklepsch: do we know already which editor we’ll use for the workshop?

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T14:26:17.000022Z

@txus: not decided yet I guess. Probably we should make a decision soon. You got any fav?

knotschi 2015-06-16T14:45:52.000023Z

there is a lighttable plugin for clojurebrigde 😄

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:02:48.000024Z

is there? I didn’t know!

knotschi 2015-06-16T15:03:09.000025Z

https://github.com/ClojureBridge/lt-clojurebridge

socksy 2015-06-16T15:05:56.000027Z

it isn’t really doing much?

txus 2015-06-16T15:06:04.000028Z

oh nice

txus 2015-06-16T15:06:15.000029Z

I’d go for light table for how easy it is to set up, but don’t know how good is it with Quil

socksy 2015-06-16T15:08:42.000030Z

how is LT on windows?

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:09:33.000031Z

Quil is really just a Clojure REPL type thing, should be fine. I have one other vote for LT from another coach

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:09:59.000032Z

also IntelliJ just didn’t work on Arne’s computer. (

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:10:29.000033Z

I somehow don’t like lighttable for the fact that it is essentially unmaintained, vs. Cursive which is actively being worked on

txus 2015-06-16T15:12:55.000034Z

I know...

txus 2015-06-16T15:13:18.000035Z

to be fair Cursive is quite alpha-y, but I haven’t tried it, has anyone?

txus 2015-06-16T15:13:24.000036Z

if it works well shouldn’t be a problem

txus 2015-06-16T15:13:25.000037Z

😄

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:51:03.000039Z

I have tried it with Quil and after some initial confusion about setting up an IDE it worked quite nicely

martinklepsch 2015-06-16T15:51:29.000040Z

I’m thinking since we have an evening to set things up it’s probably fine 🤷
