You can extend it to 6 months so you'd only have to do twice a year - and maybe next time Github will have added an option to make it indefinite.
It’s not that big a deal
I'm only mentioning it because you specifically asked for this feature on Twitter, never mind :)
well, it's something we've lived with for 10 years :)
and it would be great if there were a switch to just turn it off in projects where we don't accept prs, but it's not worth changing temporarily and then having to spend any time maintaining that status
I guess you could also archive the repo, not sure if you can still push to it, but that might not work so well marketing-wise ;)
yeah, I don't think that's a good idea :)
before you know it, someone will say it's dead ;)
@alexmiller do you think https://clojure.atlassian.net/browse/CLJ-1364 might be applicable for a next release?
FYI, we're finally putting Clojure 1.10.2-alpha2 into our staging environment today and it should go into production next week.
could be, is it affecting you?
if so, please vote at https://ask.clojure.org/index.php/4266/primitive-vecseq-does-not-implement-equals-hashing-methods?show=4266#q4266 - we prioritize things that are getting attention on ask.clojure
I ran into it and lost some on it time but rewrote that part of code anyway and am more happy with it now. So no urgency from my side, it was just the first problem I encountered in clojure proper. So there is no urgency from my side.
Thanks, I didn't know about the voting, having read the dev workflow page and assumed that it might have fallen out of interest since a release tag was missing.
just hasn't been targeted yet
