@lfn3: great. Is there an active meetup scene in any of the major centres?

danielcompton 2016-06-29T00:56:47.000006Z

Yep, in Auckland

danielcompton 2016-06-29T00:56:55.000007Z

And there’s one in Wellington

danielcompton 2016-06-29T00:56:58.000008Z

Where are you?

Montoux does Clojure work in Wellington

I’m based in Wellington. I seen there is a meetup in Wellington, but it looks like there’s been almost no activity since Feb 4, 2015.

At the moment, the best way to get a job doing Clojure is to start a startup with it 🙂

raspygold 2016-06-29T01:07:03.000012Z

Yeah, not so much looking for employment with Clojure yet. More wanting to join the community and assess future opportunities with the technology.

danielcompton 2016-06-29T01:13:01.000013Z

sure

danielcompton 2016-06-29T01:13:08.000014Z

It seems pretty small at the moment for sure, would you say it is growing? I have joined the Auckland meet up, with any luck there might be some chance to participate remotely.
