Clojurians Log v2

Cognitect recruiting has been willing in the past to ship free stickers in support of Clojure/ClojureBridge community building. Check with Kim Foster to see if they’re still doing that. (btw, Real Cognitect stickers are nicer than the ones you can buy online from zazzle)

Since we're talking about stickers, transparent text on a black background, like on the Clojurebridge stickers from Euroclojure, is a rather bad idea 😄

I had been trying to track down CB stickers, it seems everyone is run out.. so i ordered 300. Will give anyone who asks some at the Conj 🙂

@socksy well, if you have a dark laptop, you can hardly see the text

it'd be different if the sticker was designed for the apple logo on a mac, but it's not big enough to cover that

I feel like most laptops, other than macs, tend to be of a darker color

we might be able to get stickers made with black text on white

@kauko is that true these days? I see lots of greys and silvers and golds in the mediamarkt :) Can only think of thinkpads as dark computers...

soo.. what's your point? 😄 It's preferable to have the transparency, so that if I have a golden laptop I'll have golden text? Or that thinkpads don't matter? 😄

I am quite fond of the transparency, makes it one of the nicest stickers on my laptop :)
