@clojuregeek I will be setting up a new event for ClojureBridge London today. The event will be on the 10th/11th May. Will send you the links soon, and it will all be on https://clojurebridgelondon.github.io/
Cool do you want to list it in http://Bridgetroll.org too?
I will add it to http://Bridgetroll.org as well (they have the London Chapter on their now)
@clojuregeek I have added the next ClojureBridge London to BridgeTroll at https://www.bridgetroll.org/events/471 - it is awaiting approval
cool 🙂 thanks
@clojuregeek do you know who approves these events. I hope to use BridgeTroll as the main sign-up, but am unclear about who approves our event. The last time I set up an event it took a few weeks to be approved and only got approved by accident when someone was looking for another event.
I'm guessing Sarah does
is there a way I can contact Sarah in case the event is not on her radar?
Sarah Allen <sarah@ultrasaurus.com>
Thank you. I will give it a day or two and then contact her if its still waiting approval
ok 🙂
FYI, happy to have any and all ClojureBridge events on the http://clojure.org event calendar - you can PR them to https://github.com/clojure/clojure-site/tree/master/content/events/2019
or file an issue and I can do the tech bits
Hello Alex, I submitted a PR for the next ClojureBridge London event, to the http://Clojure.org Events site https://github.com/clojure/clojure-site/pull/375
thx
cool, thanks @alexmiller
@jr0cket Sarah said if someone from London ClojureBridge wants to help approve events for BridgeTroll she can teach them.. but your event is now approved 🙂
I am the only organiser left active in London, so happy to be trained. I am getting a few new organisers over the summer hopefully.
Thanks Alex, I'll do a PR very soon
