@clojuregeek I will be setting up a new event for ClojureBridge London today. The event will be on the 10th/11th May. Will send you the links soon, and it will all be on https://clojurebridgelondon.github.io/

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T14:14:29.003800Z

Cool do you want to list it in http://Bridgetroll.org too?

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T14:46:49.004700Z

I will add it to http://Bridgetroll.org as well (they have the London Chapter on their now)

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T17:20:38.005800Z

@clojuregeek I have added the next ClojureBridge London to BridgeTroll at https://www.bridgetroll.org/events/471 - it is awaiting approval

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T17:21:19.006200Z

cool 🙂 thanks

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T17:45:55.008900Z

@clojuregeek do you know who approves these events. I hope to use BridgeTroll as the main sign-up, but am unclear about who approves our event. The last time I set up an event it took a few weeks to be approved and only got approved by accident when someone was looking for another event.

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T17:46:47.009200Z

I'm guessing Sarah does

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T17:47:54.010100Z

is there a way I can contact Sarah in case the event is not on her radar?

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T17:48:15.010600Z

Sarah Allen <sarah@ultrasaurus.com>

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T17:48:57.011500Z

Thank you. I will give it a day or two and then contact her if its still waiting approval

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T17:49:18.011700Z

ok 🙂

FYI, happy to have any and all ClojureBridge events on the http://clojure.org event calendar - you can PR them to https://github.com/clojure/clojure-site/tree/master/content/events/2019

alexmiller 2019-03-18T18:21:40.012800Z

or file an issue and I can do the tech bits

practicalli-john 2019-03-25T13:49:23.019900Z

Hello Alex, I submitted a PR for the next ClojureBridge London event, to the http://Clojure.org Events site https://github.com/clojure/clojure-site/pull/375

alexmiller 2019-03-25T13:50:38.020200Z

thx

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T18:54:22.013100Z

cool, thanks @alexmiller

clojuregeek 2019-03-18T18:55:52.014300Z

@jr0cket Sarah said if someone from London ClojureBridge wants to help approve events for BridgeTroll she can teach them.. but your event is now approved 🙂

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T19:50:42.016900Z

I am the only organiser left active in London, so happy to be trained. I am getting a few new organisers over the summer hopefully.

practicalli-john 2019-03-18T22:14:49.017Z

Thanks Alex, I'll do a PR very soon
