Sorry, folks, but we had to take this video down. (Already received 8 copyright claims by this time. 🙈) But we promise to publish the videos of the talks as soon as possible!
It doesn’t look like take down warnings to me, though?
@pez it does to me, because as far as I know – but I have to admit that I don‘t know it for sure – the same bells ring on the sides of the content owners, so they can take „further actions“. But I don‘t want no further actions. 😉
Haha, no, we don’t want any further action!
There is also the easier solution to publish on another platform than Youtube, like Peertube.
Was it the Star Wars Intro? 😱
Yes. And the songs used by the artists.
Looks like this:
🤦
haha. I once made some fun with a parrot (pet from my parents): we danced together on a song that was on the radio. I posted that to Twitter and week later my account was blocked due to a copyright issue
Damn, I would give a lot to see that! Parrot Dancing on the next :clojureD stage? 🦜 🕺
oh, I was going to ask if you needed a clean version of my video with that - I can yank the audio there
I could just replace it with me badly singing the theme :)
you have my vote!
This would be great, but you have to sing it utterly wrong. If you can identify the main characteristics of the song, it's over too. (Someone was sued for removing the song, because it destroyed the composed work: https://www.wired.com/story/the-star-wars-video-that-baffled-youtubes-copyright-cops/)
@alexmiller if it's okay by you, I'd do something similar to this: https://youtu.be/aZGEF3DN43U?t=814 (without the fast-forward of course) when publishing your talk.
I can re-cut something, I've got it all multi-tracked in a video editor so easy to do
I can add a karaoke bouncing ball for the music: 🔴 Daaaa da da da, da da ramtata ramtata daaaa
@alexmiller If you prefer to edit it by yourself, please go ahead. But I can also do it for you. As a service.
I'll do it later today
