My experience with it is: it's a DSL so a new language to learn. And introducing this to a company's codebase will force others to learn it as well. I also didn't find it always very clear, so had to go to the #specter channel for support often

When I wrote something clever using Specter and wanted to change it two months later, I didn't understand it anymore. Gave up on it for now. There are a lot of other people who use it though.
