@alexmiller: hi Alex, just saw your question (I'm on org committee for ClojureX). I'm not so worried about attendees but I am concerned about speakers. I think competition for a smallish pool of high profile speakers may hurt us both? Thoughts?

Possible, again though I don't think there's a lot of overlap across the pond

We hadn't seen anything else here so we started moving forward on contracting, not sure where all that will land
