> ClojuTRE was quite ok but you can give the eBook to someone else who needs it more than I do ๐
ClojuTRE was quite ok
... and we have a winner! (since @borkdude folded)
I clearly missed something here ๐
I'm guessing Twitter given how much time @borkdude wastes spends there ;)
Book raffle
Does that mean I still have time?
ClojuTRE was quite ok
This may backfire spectacularly
lol
#PleaseReadMoreOnTheInternet
Doesn't this mean "it was spectacularly awesome" in Finnish?
It was indeed spectacularly awesome
Ah, I see it was the last book. I guess I was too late ๐
I thought it was a clever parody of #NoOneReadsAnything
. I'd like to keep it that way
CLOJUTRE WAS QUITE OK
ClojuTRE was quite ok
again, just in case jaja
am I the first one? ๐
Sadly, no.
ups, no I wasn't ๐ข
haha its ok!
happy to be here ๐
I still kinda like ClojuROI
although the travel arrangements from abroad would be much more difficult
Clojure Return On Investment? A conference full of Clojure success stories, could be a thing!
Somewhere more central in Europe as a replacement for EuroClojure would be cool to me, so I don't need to fly anymore ๐
but then people from Finland would have to fly probably, so no
what about โclojure on international watersโ -cruise
ClojuTaxFree. Well thatโs an idea
ClojuMAR in Mariehamn?
โno state, no taxโ tagline
Clobscjure. A conference in the most obscure village you've ever been to.
maybe somewhere in Poland or in the baltics is doable by train from Finland and from other Clojure hotspots in Europe (cough Berlin cough)
or ferry + train at least
Hamburg could work?
Tallinn could be a compromise
I would take the train to Stockholm as well, or Denmark, and that should be doable as well for the finns
I went to Copenhagen by train once in one day, could work
via Hamburg
Talinn takes 3 days by train according to http://bahn.de from my city.
Is there a clojubac? Then we can say we went to hel and bac
ClojuTRE was quite ok
Wow way off ;)
Finally it's snowing in Helsinki! โ
I wouldnโt say no to a Copenhagen conference!
+1 for ClojuROI. I donโt think it would be an issue from traveling point of view. Rovaniemi has an airport and if you donโt want to fly you can always take the night train from Helsinki.
let's meet half way - gotland
Oh how could I have missed that ? ๐ฎ
Some of us had some thoughts and chats about how we could have more planned time to meet and talk on future conferences. Having a long train ride, with a train full of Clojurians, can be a cool way to meet and talk.
ClojureROI and the night train from Helsiniki is part of it. Where do I sign up?
If weโre enough people I guess we can fill an entire train? ๐
Hallway track, conference track, train track
Trains are one of my most productive programming environments (especially long distance trains).
Have you ever been on a finnish train? They have fast internet. Your productivity will go to hacker news.
I'm usually connected via 4G anyway.
