@ayidi There is a (small) Clojure community on Gitter... There's a clojure/general room and also rooms for clojure/java.jdbc and clojure/tools.cli
And the CIDER/Emacs and Onyx folks are fairly active on Gitter.
Also, check out the Hackpad link (channel topic and and details and pinned -- so it's easy to find!) which has discussions of various possible Slack alternatives.
There are often 20-30 people on Discord too. And the #clojure freenode IRC is bridged to Matrix/Riot (which also has additional non-IRC people).
