Join/leave automated posts are more noticeable in channels such as jobs. They seem a lot less noticeable in Clojure or beginner channel. I would rather see numbers of people joining than individual message. Sometimes a channel shows it has unread messages, but it can be almost all join message, that is a bit annoying, but again it's mostly the lower traffic channels I am using Clojurians Zulip more these days, so not particularly an issue for me.

Hello admins 🙂 I have a question: would it be OK to post a questionnaire on this slack? Specifically this one: https://account606590.typeform.com/to/sirkUS13 It is a short survey about messaging/message queues and features of interest to Clojurians - with the aim of building something to eventually meet those needs.

@nha We weren't ignoring you -- but the Admins are spread across a lot of timezones so it took us a while to get some consensus. Since you're a Clojure dev and this is about a potential future Clojure project, we'd be OK with you posting it in #clojure but perhaps give a bit more background so that folks don't think it's spam (most "surveys" we see posted here are spam, unfortunately).

Great news :) Good tip as well, I’ll think about writing some background to avoid it looking like spam.
