@gerred: I would love to see something that built on this presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w14NJkV5yAg&list=PLZdCLR02grLrl5ie970A24kvti21hGiOf&index=18

yeah. That'd be great. clojurescript definitely fixes the startup time issue.

It was really interesting but they ran into a number of issues and problems, and they concluded that it worked but required some pretty serious effort to get it working

And a lot of the tools they used weren't really ready for primetime when they used them

ah, yeah, an update for the current state of the ecosystem would be nice.

In my notes from the Conj, one of my questions from their talk was on hosted clojurescript, the other about using it with Datomic. Not sure that helps at all, but those might be easy to cover or comment about when preparing the actual talk.

I wish I had known about this a week ago when I put my proposal together 😛

Trying to decide between a few proposals: 1) how fun PEG parsers are, writing a virtual machine to execute the parser 2) deep dive on hash map implementation + the new improvements to hashmaps 3) Programmatic Infrastructure with Kubernetes

Any thoughts?

venantius 2016-01-27T22:26:54.000042Z

I’d be really interested in 2 or 3

venantius 2016-01-27T22:27:00.000043Z

(personally)

ghadi 2016-01-27T22:27:10.000044Z

Cool

ghadi 2016-01-27T22:27:20.000045Z

Thanks! Leaning one way?

2016-01-27T22:29:20.000046Z

hey @ghadi re: 3 are you driving kubernetes from clj?

2016-01-27T22:35:37.000047Z

can you submit multiple proposals?

ghadi 2016-01-27T22:40:12.000048Z

Not yet @jonahbenton

shaun-mahood 2016-01-27T23:08:24.000050Z

@jaredly: I started with 3 mediocre potential proposals and narrowed it down to 1 good one, and trying to decide on just one really helped me figure out what I wanted to do and what made sense to propose.

shaun-mahood 2016-01-27T23:09:07.000051Z

You'd probably have to ask @alexmiller whether multiple proposals is allowed or not though

2016-01-27T23:09:19.000052Z

@ghadi: I’d vote for #1

richiardiandrea 2016-01-27T23:10:55.000053Z

#3 is nice to
