@hiredman so I solved it, I couldn't try leiningen, since I'm using so many git deps, that I didn't want to spend so much time getting it to work with plugins. But what I had to do, is when bundling the uberjar, I had to remove core.async from the deps.edn :deps map, as to not bundle the .clj resources from the jarfile.
