To close the loop on brining up GDPR, yes, it relates to privacy. If/when someone exploits a vulnerability in a third-party ClojureScript or Clojure dependency, that may have privacy concerns (especially if sensitive data isn't properly handled) and downstream financial penalties. I'd expect that news story to read like "the group of clever ClojureScript/Clojure developers did not do their due diligence and interop with a well-maintained secure dependency from the host environment. Instead, they used an unproven dependency that security researchers haven't reviewed until this week when N other problems were found. The CEO of the company has said 'The developers did bad things.'"
