This new cljdoc seems so promising. How can we build a sustainable community around this and prevent a fate similar to http://clojure-doc.org and http://clojuredocs.org/ ?
I’m glad this question came up and agree that it’s an important part of making this succeed long term. I set up an opencollective but haven’t promoted it much. Ultimately we’ll need maybe $50-100/mo (v. conservative estimate) for server costs and then some to at least somewhat compensate people fixing bugs and improving it. I’d be very curious to hear what other people’s thoughts are as well. Do you have other/additional ideas for making cljdoc sustainable?
