Dear Channel: Are we going to use this channel as our main communications channel during and after the conference? Or are there alternatives we want to use (last year we used twitter with the #C04V12NPC hashtag to get organised in the evenings/Saturday for instance)?
I find twitter easier on the go (Slack mobile app needs a bit more work..)
how about using something like WhatApp? would that work?
I use it with my family and groups work really well IMHO
I'd prefer #euroclojure on twitter.
given that offline maps for Barcelona are not available from Google: Whats a good OpenStreetMap client that supports offline maps?
@martinklepsch: I use "osmand“ and have downloaded the just the osm regoin of barcelona

One thing to be aware of is the castillian/catalan thing i.e. Avinguda vs. Avenida etc.

Why don't we keep it simple, i.e. meet at cervezeria say 6.00, and people have in the meantime found a foosball place, then we drift over there
