The #bangalore-clj June-2021 online meetup is happening on Saturday, 5th of June where @adityaathalye will talk about Component vs Mount: https://www.meetup.com/Bangalore-Clojure-User-Group/events/278275710/

To reiterate the purpose of the session... The hope is to have a larger discussion about grokking libraries in general. I just happen to use Component v/s Mount as an example, because I happened to have compared these two most recently.

@adityaathalye Sounds like a fascinating talk, which is why I’m interested in attended (even tho’ it’s in the middle of my night!), and especially because it’s Component (which we use at work) vs Mount (which I don’t like 🙂 ). And that’s why I was a bit disappointed it clashes with clojureD.

I think we should be able to record the session and publish it somewhere. If that happens, we'll post a link in Slack and/or the mailing list.

It may not matter to you but I think that overlaps with clojureD if my timezone math is correct?

@seancorfield You're right, it clashes with the first two ClojureD (UTC+2) talks per their schedule: https://clojured.de/schedule/ /cc @robertchristopher @pradeep.bishnoi

(I only noticed because I’m already signed up for clojureD even though it’s in the middle of my night 🙂 )
