It's also stupid business sense. Some day, some dev named @mobileink is going to get pissed off, write an alternative to #clojure that runs on GCP. Then, Google steps in and offerings hosting for all open source projects, and evberyone jumps to the @mobileink/gcp alternative, and slack starts falling apart.
