i'm looking to use joplin with a newer version of elasticsearch than is currently supported

i'd like to share the result, and thought i'd ask which type of direction would be more fitting with how you see the library progressing

1) add a completely new ElasticSearch 6 sub project 2) work some version switches into the current sub project
