Uhm, no sorry, forget about the noise, this might be some problem with fiddling with use-fixtures on my side...and some try/catch within them and I am going nuts 🙂

It should definitely call your fixtures. It does a complete run off your entire suite including fixtures, but it skips over all tests except the ones you are focusing on.
