@plexus What reasons motivated your choice of license to be MPL for regal?

I have to choose a license for my next library, and wonder.

I like the copyleft-per-file model, it encourages contribution but isn't viral like GPL

I have gotten a little bit of pushback, Pitch funded Chui and asked to make it EPL instead, because their legal team hadn't (yet) reviewed MPL. not sure if that's common though, seems like a enterprise-friendly license to me

MPL1 was different from MPL2, I've worked with companies that ban it. AGPL is similar in intent, but has been tarnished in industry by Google/GPL. I like the MPL license, because it's an open source sharealike license without being infectious.
