@jonpither: thoughts on where to beer tonight?
A bunch of us are meeting at the Ring on the Cut from 5 onwards. There's some onthemarket people also. Can go on from there..
cool
Heh. I wonder how many other pubs there are in London with clojure-library names.
those days are the worst
I always had that recurring problem when playing with Scheme. I'd make a mental model of how call/cc works/can-be-used, write something that uses call/cc. Then proceed to forget how call/cc works and come back to my code sometime later and then spend another day rebuilding the mental model.
i have a similar experience with monads... maybe some concepts are particularly slippery ?
yeah
I started writing something last week with macros and records. I haven't been able to work on it since then. I expect it'll all be in greek when I finally get some time next week to work on it.
ooo, i've just seen lux ( https://github.com/LuxLang/lux ) : it looks like an awesome concept
Clojure O'Clock almost...
@xlevus: if it's in greek, just ask me to translate 😄
hah
Is it beer o'clock yet?
i'm looking for a clj/cljs developer : http://trampolinesystems.com/news/join-the-team-seeking-a-skilled-clojure-developer/
@mccraigmccraig: looks like a very interesting position (and I'd be a good fit) but I'm not looking right now
@mccraigmccraig: is it strictly permanent or would you consider contractors as well?
aw yiss. Wife's gone out, Work is over. Time to drink beer, eat pizza and write code.
Have a beer for me tonight folks. Got to catch train home and (as I’m gluten intolerant) I can’t drink beer (or eat pizza!).
This is why we invented cheeza and tequila :P
have fun tonight guys...
