Bore da
Caught up with fellow #C0522EZ9N @jr0cket last night at DevvoxUK. Missed out on winning pub quiz by 2 points (came second - No Clojure questions or might have won!)โฆfeeling a little delicate this morning so keep the noise down please.
guten morgen
morning
good morrow
@thomas: That was piccadilly circus
hhmmm ok.. looked very different. but then I have never seen it from that angle I guess
the black sign was what I was going on
yeah, my office is right above Sting.
on a completely different note. OSM is looking for some more funding for hardware: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Donations
you can use paypall or a normal UK transfer
hoho, might sneak clojurescript into work
piccadilly circus - so actually not far away at all. No power issues here on Wardour street...
@xlevus: go for it!!! just tell them it is a lib on top of JS ๐
just need to find a graphing library
@xlevus: what do you need? and have a look at cljsjs
just need to draw some semi-interactive graphs
and really don't want to do it myself
there is D3 with Dimple. @annapawlicka has used them here https://github.com/annapawlicka/om-data-vis
although here stuff predates cljsjs most of it should be the same. major difference probably just project.clj I suspect
There's an even simpler example in the om-cookbook
https://github.com/omcljs/om-cookbook/tree/master/recipes/dimple-bar-chart
You could probably extract what you need, even if you're not using Om, from either of these examples
hm, cheers
acron & xlevus there is also geom from @postspectacular https://github.com/thi-ng/geom/blob/master/geom-viz/src/core.org
wow, those are some nice graphs
Karsten does a lot of interesting stuff.
Used to be a committer on processing. IIUC this is his 2nd go at pretty pics (and data vis) since getting fed up with the limitations of processing.
oh cool. i discovered https://github.com/quil/quil the other day
might try and fit that into a project somewhere
acron: and you might be using http://thi.ng/geom soon. ๐
\o/
just looking around it now actually
very smart
korny: hello!
@ambrosebs: want to review an article about typed clojure Iโm writing?
