Morning - good talk by @krisajenkins on Clojurescript at FunctionalJS meetup at Guardian building last night. Enjoyed it and I think the JS developers there did too.

good to hear that

morning - sounds good. Sigh - a one-hour commute makes it hard to go to all the meetups...

I am still larning cljs and I really don’t have my head fully around Om (let alone whatever Om Next will bring) and I found it useful. Given how long it took me to ‘click’ with Clojure/Clojurescript it always amazes me when a good teacher can get a large group up to speed with the basics in 90 mins!

It’s OK, most of that group will have forgotten all the important bits within a month…

korny 2015-07-28T11:49:55.000127Z

(probably within a week, to be honest)

thomas 2015-07-28T14:32:00.000128Z

two things....

thomas 2015-07-28T14:32:32.000129Z

A) why has it gotten so quite here... has the newness worn off?

thomas 2015-07-28T14:32:55.000130Z

B) has any one seen Bruce lately @otfrom?

jonpither 2015-07-28T14:46:35.000131Z

Am trying to learn Gloss

jonpither 2015-07-28T14:46:37.000132Z

is fun

jonpither 2015-07-28T14:46:43.000133Z

Anyone used it?

thomas 2015-07-28T14:48:45.000134Z

yes I had a play with it a few years ago...

thomas 2015-07-28T14:49:03.000135Z

very clever (as anything fromZach Tellman)

thomas 2015-07-28T14:49:44.000136Z

unfortunately it wasn't good for de/en coding MQTT packages 😞
