Morning all

Just to check: where is the next London Clojurians meetup (12th Oct) going to be? The title on the London Clojurians calendar says Skills matter (code node?), but the location says uSwitch?

where does say uswitch?

Also, am considering do a small blog on it as to hit planet clojure. Slightly wary of the spam element, but think it's justified. I've noticed that Clojure events set up through EventBrite (not skills-matter), automatically create planet clojure tweets

If anyone knows anything about this setup, please let me know

I've just emailed SkillsMatter, saying we need to mirror the EventBrite -> Planet Clojure setup, since SM events do not go on to EventBrite

Does anybody have a recommendation or counter-recomendation on post forwarding companies in London?

You want a truly private box right? and not a PO Box?

I don’t want a PO Box. I want a normal address that forwards to my residential one.

ah. I looked into getting one recently. For what you get, they're all pretty expensive. PO Boxes are cheaper, but you lose the privacy aspect.

you seem to pay for the London address. Which I really don't care for, I'd be happy with a Sheffield address.

I don’t think HMRC would be happy with my company’s office being a PO Box. :simple_smile:

PO boxes aren't actually private, Royal Mail will tell you where the address actually goes if you ask them

but if you're setting up a company, your accountant might provide the service for you

(mine does)

My accountants don’t, they pointed me to a provider, but I’d rather shop around to see if there’s something better.

Yes, I found a bunch of them, but a former partner of mine got a horrible experience with one of them, so I’d like to go with a good one.
