@agile_geek: yep, detached retina... amazing and terrifying op... my eyeball is currently filled with hexafluoroethane and everything is wavy and magnified about 4x !

yep, it's pretty weird - the gas gradually dissolves in bloodstream and gets replaced by fluid over 6 weeks, so there'll be a meniscus gradually moving down as fluid fills up
