gjnoonan 2016-01-03T11:02:02.000877Z

did you get to do any Haskell @agile_geek

agile_geek 2016-01-03T11:03:10.000878Z

@gjnoonan Not much but a bit

gjnoonan 2016-01-03T11:07:18.000879Z

What are you using for learning reference, LYAHFGG ?

agile_geek 2016-01-03T12:08:38.000880Z

Yep

minimal 2016-01-03T14:09:16.000881Z

I’ve been using http://haskellbook.com, much better the LYAH imo, but costs ££

agile_geek 2016-01-03T14:30:31.000883Z

I bought LYAHFGG in paperback anyway. I find it easier to work code examples when I have hardcopy.

glenjamin 2016-01-03T14:31:02.000884Z

presumably forcing you to type instead of copy-paste is beneficial too

agile_geek 2016-01-03T14:31:34.000885Z

Absolutely. I need the muscle memory!

minimal 2016-01-03T14:32:42.000886Z

Yeah it’s too easy to just read and never learn by doing
