Yo. Here to ask a question in a bigger channel, but thought as I’m back after some absence, I might say “hi” here :simple_smile:

@korny: how's the Jepsen'ing going?

@agile_geek: Nicely - the main problem is Aphyr is testing strange corners of the ACID world, we mostly want to poke at MongoDB client and replication options and say “what would fail if we killed the network”. So most of his examples are overkill.

Yeah, we’re probably going to use chaos monkey for larger scale testing. But Jepsen is neat for small scale scenarios. Besides, I get to play with clojure :simple_smile:

True. We put a Kyle photo up on our whiteboard - had to skip a few google image search results that might not quite be what we wanted...

Also on the subject of events - anyone else going to the Milton Keynes Java group tonight? I guess it’s more #mkclj than #C0522EZ9N ...
