@mikerod just proved that the problem is java, not lein at all. The fact that java -version works threw me, but if I do java -jar from the command line on one of the jars in the jdk demo folder, I get the same "access is denied". (but it works if I double-click the jar. ARGH)
Oh dang. Well thatβs progress
I donβt know the fix though
Probably shell specific or something
yeah, me either. Devops guy was out today. I'll hit him up tomorrow, he installed windows on this thing. Could be some weird security crap. It is windows...
thanks again for your help. I think I'm done with this until I can get him involved. (One day down the drain lol)
No problem. And yeah that sounds frustrating. I know how that sort of day-lost feeling goes too
Thank you for your help yesterday @mikerod! I have published the reciept here: https://blog.jakubholy.net/leiningen-split-uberjar-into-dependencies-and-app/
@holyjak nice!
@mikerod Thanks again for your help yesterday, and the issue turned out to be some security software that had been loaded onto the machine (and has now been removed).
@terry.poot nice. Well that was quite unrelated after all
