For everyone curious what’s next for nREPL here’s my dream feature set for the next release: - Sideloading (https://github.com/nrepl/nrepl/issues/97) - Injection over a socket REPL (https://github.com/nrepl/nrepl/issues/96) - Rich printing (https://github.com/nrepl/nrepl/issues/92) - EDN transport The first 3 are already WIP, lead by @cgrand, so I’m reasonly optimistic about them. We’re currently looking for a volunteer for the EDN transport (https://github.com/nrepl/nrepl/issues/60), as I won’t be able to get to it for a couple of months more.

Everyone’s welcome to take a look at where we are and share their input/ideas!

(Btw, those are also the only outstanding features on the road to nREPL 1.0, at least as far as I’m concerned)

I'd be keen to have a go at the EDN transport issue

shen 2019-03-22T07:59:25.028300Z

been following the history of that

@shen Just say the word and it’s yours. 🙂

Can I suggest we resolve https://github.com/nrepl/nrepl/issues/132 too?

shen 2019-03-22T08:19:00.030800Z

it's the issue around stream-printing tests failing half the time

bozhidar 2019-03-22T10:34:47.031600Z

Yeah, we’re totally going to resolve it. I’m just hoping that @cichli will find some time for it, as he’s more familiar with the implementation.

I’ve got a lot of pressure at work these days, and this really limited my ability to tackle anything meaningful in the OSS world. Hopefully things are going to quiet down in a month or two. 🤞

Feels like there should be an acronym for the above statement
