So I'm maintaining one of my OSS cljs projects. Since co-working spaces are not currently an option, I found the next best thing: You control an 8-bit inspired avatar in a digital space with spatial audio to interact with people around you in the space. The free tier can hold up to 25 people simultaneously. Currently I'm in the east-most room sharing my screen on the cljs project. Yes, it's a great tool. Bob Konferenz also used it. One of the work places from the organizers even rebuild the office in gather. It's great how you can selectively hear what you want.
Twitch is also great for these kind of things, there are some pros and cons to it.
