Janet seems pretty nice for low level stuff ... Haven't tried it yet though

right, Janet looks super pretty, I did install it on my Windows machine, the only caveat I found pretty quick is that windows is not as well supported

also I think is pretty early days, say, setting up emacs was not very easy and the experience was not as polished as, say, cider
