Also, I just noticed, when I start the supercollider server, I cannot use any sound device anymore on ubuntu, is there a workaround for this?

@sveri: I don’t think there is… it is jackd or not. I used to have the same problem.

on linux I don’t think that is possible… shame indeed

Haha, I have been switching from Windows back to Ubuntu like two months ago after being abstinent for several years. The fact that W10 will show ads and constantly send data home pushed me away.

but it has some other issues

but it does not recognise when I switch from headphones to speakers
