Yeah, I can see that.

It’s a classic case of deferring short-term work being a long-term cost.

The problem is that I don’t come back and revisit all, or even most, of my decisions later, but if I do and I don’t have notes about why I did something, many times I get to the point of reimplementing something before I remember why it didn’t work that way.
