@nwjsmith: I actually did that for Replete (because thereโ€™s really no other choice). For Planck, it might make sense to allow it to evolve separately. Any issue with deps like that being consumed like any other dep?

Right. It is a convenience thing. (Perhaps Planck could ship with defaults for some libs, but still let users override them by supplying a JAR.) Hrm.
