I bet this ions idea has something to do with portkey ๐Ÿ™‚

baptiste-from-paris 2018-06-07T06:56:52.000181Z

but itโ€™s really mindblowing, you can really reduce time to market with this

One big difference (aside from Datomic-as-a-platform) is that we are exploring a more dynamic space (straight from the repl no push of source code)

true

> itโ€™s one of those inside-out things much like Datomic was originally

cgrand 2018-06-07T11:54:18.000234Z

Heh?

viesti 2018-06-07T11:54:32.000155Z

getting back to roots, kind of

viesti 2018-06-07T11:54:33.000435Z

I think

viesti 2018-06-07T11:54:43.000077Z

Heh as in lol? ๐Ÿ™‚

viesti 2018-06-07T11:56:55.000273Z

data is what matters and we talk to data via sql which makes your programs (maybe programmers too) exhibit a certain behaviour

viesti 2018-06-07T11:57:52.000032Z

well, maybe Iโ€™m lacking coffee

viesti 2018-06-07T12:03:15.000114Z

anyway, just liked the inside-out comment ๐Ÿ™‚

viesti 2018-06-07T12:03:39.000602Z

and yeah, we have a different scope

cgrand 2018-06-07T15:44:30.000129Z

@viesti the โ€œheh?โ€ was about the context of the inside-out comment

viesti 2018-06-07T15:56:56.000587Z

ah, yep

viesti 2018-06-07T16:05:31.000592Z

anyway, really excited on the turn of things :)

viesti 2018-06-07T16:56:11.000389Z

never did get around to try out Datomic Cloud (deployed it only) and thought that using it from Lambda would be neat but seems that a second, even more appealing chance came about :)
