In previous broadcasts I've used the built in CIDER test runner, so now we will use external command line test runners and see how they work. Congnitect Labs test runner and Kaocha test runner tools will be the main focus. The Cognitect Labs tool is very simple to use if using a deps.edn project. Many of my older projects use Leiningnen for the build management so we will cover how to test them as well as the work involved to convert them to deps.edn projects. Kaocha requires a little bit of setup and configuration, but has the ability to support a lot more types of projects and has many more features.
