@amelia I’d love to hear your stream-of-thought when reading the sample chapter of Elements of Clojure for names: https://leanpub.com/elementsofclojure

You had some questions about naming things, what is x and xs, and Zach manages to give some very nice overview of both the why and the how of naming things in software in general and Clojure specifically. I’ve no idea how a beginner would read this though 🙂

There is also an answer about what is an abstraction in there 😉
