Oh, Elixir. I want to learn Elixir

Ohj yeah! The new GitRepositoryAsync class uses NodeGit to provide a promise-oriented API which is similar to the existing GitRepository.

@sglyon: it is still very limited sadly. Performance wise though vscode is a lot faster than atom

@maksim: give it a shot! Elixir is probably my favorite language these days

@dvcrn: How would you compare Elixir to Clojure? I might give Elixir a shot.

@meow: id describe elixir as a clojure with ruby syntax. Many features are directly inspired by clojure

But concurrency in elixir is blasting clojure away

I've only barely touched Ruby and didn't like the syntax then, but I'll still take a look at Elixir when I get the chance.
