@lukeorland that's a bug related to casing of packages. Some packages are published in uppercase, some in lowercase. Proton currently is case sensitive

dvcrn 2016-10-13T01:54:28.000109Z

a fix has been merged already but not released yet

dvcrn 2016-10-13T01:54:48.000110Z

@mattly hrmm I verified when 1.11 was in beta, let me double check

mattly 2016-10-13T01:55:37.000111Z

mattly 2016-10-13T01:55:45.000112Z

mattly 2016-10-13T01:55:56.000113Z

😐 guess I didn't scroll down far enough

mattly 2016-10-13T01:56:10.000114Z

I don't use atom very often, sorry

dvcrn 2016-10-13T01:56:24.000115Z

it's there now?

dvcrn 2016-10-13T01:57:17.000116Z

though I also see some weird behavior with color schemes not matching

dvcrn 2016-10-13T02:11:23.000117Z

published v0.13.0 with the case sensitive changes

dvcrn 2016-10-13T06:43:35.000118Z

@lukeorland if you have time, could you check if you still have issues with hydrogen with this version?

jpinnix 2016-10-13T14:22:55.000120Z

Is there a resource for learning basic buffer/window/splitting mgmt in Proton?

jpinnix 2016-10-13T14:28:11.000121Z

For example, what commands do I use to open up two files side by side?

jpinnix 2016-10-13T14:28:16.000122Z

(not in tabs)

lukeorland 2016-10-13T15:04:30.000123Z

@dvcrn I think there was an improvement with the new version of proton. - the hydrogen commands are available - hydrogen isn't reinstalled every time atom starts. however, for some reason hydrogen isn't included in the list of Installed Packages in Settings.

jpinnix 2016-10-13T16:47:43.000124Z

Also, Proton is trying to install iex every time it is loaded.
