protorepl

and it hints at how to configure them so they don't mess with each other

however that is /not/ one of the pages I followed

I was trying to follow the examples to use proto repl charts but couldn't get the names (symbols) to be recognized. I had them as dependencies in my project.clj. Probably doing something dense

Probably. There are lots of packages and lots of settings -- beyond the four I mentioned I have installed for Clojure development. Those are the only four external ones I have on my laptop.

Not sure what to suggest. I tried the charts package when it came out and it worked fine, but I just don't have much data in my apps that benefits from that sort of viewing so I never used it again after that initial play. Sorry.

Hi Atom Clojurians. Could you give "thumbs up" for https://github.com/atom/language-clojure/issues/83, please. Have a good week.
