@tradehub88 maybe it's your client?? try an incognito/private window... I think I once had this on my phone app. The desktop app showed everything as read but the phone app still had an unread message in the ether somewhere

Support was able to do a 'mark everything as read for your user' that cleared the past '1 new reply' where Shift+Esc wasn't doing it. Thanks!
