Dragan, thanks for the uncomplicate libraries. I am thinking of using Neanderthal for a variational Bayes project. Is it possible to link it to openblas as opposed to MKL? I understand it's totally fine to redistribute the binaries.

it is possibe, but you'd have to link to it yourself and fill in functionality that openblas misses. technically possible, but of questionable utility.

Ok, thanks! The motivation was more open-source purity than anything technical. I'll just stick with MKL.
